    Wipfli, LLP has a significant practice in the field of Financial Institutions Compliance. We are always looking for top talent to join this thriving industry group and we encourage you to submit your resume for review. Professionals in this role would be responsible for the completion of field work for financial institution clients including regulatory compliance examination. Responsibilities will include obtaining and analyzing information and data, communicating results, and formulating recommendations. The role will also provide training and direction to assigned staff in accordance with established policies and procedures for the firm.


    • Collect and analyze relevant data by obtaining records and effectively interviewing client personnel
    • Prepare work papers and documentation in conformance with the firm’s quality control standards
    • Produce written reports in a timely manner which clearly, appropriately, and accurately communicate engagement results
    • Maintain ongoing communication with engagement manager and/or performance coach


    • Job-related experience as a financial institution internal auditor, compliance officer, or compliance auditor
    • Requires a business related degree or a combination of education and related work experience
    • Rudimentary knowledge of internal audit theory, strategies, and techniques
    • Understanding of financial institution laws, regulations and regulatory expectations
    • Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
    • Ability to understand compliance requirements and recognize compliance deficiencies
    • Travel Requirements: 75%; of this time 25-30% will be overnight travel procedures
