Responsibilities

Wipfli is recruiting for candidates interested in Accounting Internships for Summer of 2018.  Wipfli offers a rotational internship program where students have the opportunity to experience tax, audit, and several industries represented in the market.

 

Interns will be responsible for utilizing educational knowledge and experience to perform numerous tax and audit related responsibilities; preparation of a variety of individual and corporate tax returns and financial statements, conducting tax research and other appropriate or related financial reports, and responding to tax inquiries from clients and from government notices.

Qualifications

  • Requires substantial progress toward obtaining an advanced degree (including, at a minimum, completion of corporate or individual taxation class).
  • Above average competency in accounting as demonstrated by college GPA, and on-the-job performance of duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to think independently and make good decisions based on education and experience.
  • Above average communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and staff.
  • Ability to prioritize work, follow through on requests, take initiative and meet deadlines.
