Position Summary

Wipfli LLP is looking for an experienced sales executive to help grow our Cybersecurity consulting services practice. We are looking for candidates in the Chicago, Milwaukee or Madison area. The Account Executive will be responsible for selling Wipfli’s comprehensive cybersecurity services to companies in our key industry segments as well as targeted accounts.  The individual will be responsible for prospecting for new clients, as well as expanding the relationships with existing Wipfli customers, working in coordination with the Wipfli relationship executive. Wipfli’s cybersecurity services include, but not limited to: security assessment, penetration testing, business continuity/ disaster recovery, incident response, and IT audit.




  • Understand key solutions offered by Wipfli and how to position with clients
  • Generate new business through prospecting and timely follow-up on leads Develop and execute on sales plans for targeted prospects
  • Develop and execute on sales plans for targeted prospects
  • Drive revenue by identifying potential opportunities within Wipfli’s client base.
  • Work collaboratively with Wipfli’s relationship executive, services team, and leadership               
  • Prepare and present proposals in person and via web conference
  • Develop relationships with C-level executives and IT management within prospect and client base
  • Nurture relationships with key referral business partners
  • Provide accurate revenue forecasts and manage sales cycles within CRM





  • +5 years experience selling information technology or consulting services
  • Prospecting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Build trust and rapport with clients and prospects through active listening and effective communication
  • Ability to quickly learn the business drivers, challenges, and regulatory requirements for cybersecurity.
  • Experience selling to regulated industries (e.g. financial services, healthcare) is a plus.
  • Strong networking and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • Proven success with track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
