This professional will play an active role on the Organization Development and Governance Team, delivering strategic planning services and related management consulting services to financial services companies and financial institutions, banking associations, non-profit entities, and to businesses/industries of all sizes. The position would work directly with clients at the Board and Executive Management level and have client relationship accountability for a portfolio of client relationships.



  • Facilitate Strategic Planning Meetings with Board and Senior Management.
  • Develop and produce customized, comprehensive, detailed strategic plans for clients.
  • Actively conduct or contribute within a team setting to conducting comprehensive Management Assessments for financial institutions subject to regulatory enforcement action(s).
  • Actively develop business for Strategic Advisory Services and/or other Wipfli services.
  • Analyze surveys and other financial institution related analytics.
  • Assistance with other strategic initiatives as determined by service line leaders.
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling to meet both internal and external client workflow demands. Heavy, frequent travel schedule.
  • Produce consistently high quality work in timely manner aligned with Wipfli’s guidelines and to meet specific client needs.
  • Present a professional image in conduct, attitude and attire at all times.
  • Excellent, well developed written and oral communications skills.
  • Possesses and demonstrate outstanding leadership capabilities.
  • Continually upgrade knowledge related to the financial services industry. Well read.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities and develop business.


  • Undergraduate degree with GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Advanced degree preferred but not required (e.g., MBA
  • History of 10+ years of high profile/executive management experience in a financial institution, preferably $500MM+ in asset size.
  • Confirmed work history that demonstrates excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Proven track record of outstanding leadership capabilities and results achievement.
  • Illustrated proficiency in both verbal and written communications.
  • Exemplify a high degree of personal integrity and interpersonal skills and abilities.
  • Ability to read/digest all aspects of financial institution financials and identify trends, issues, strengths/weaknesses/opportunities and potential or existing red flags.
  • Ability to understand and analyze relevant peer group analysis.
  • Knowledge/exposure to numerous aspects of financial institution functions and management thereof.
  • Thorough understanding of effective financial institutions growth strategies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word.
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint desired, but not required.
  • Thorough understanding of the financial institution industry and current trends in the industry
