We are looking for an energetic Technology Consultant to join our growing Finance and Accounting Optimization team in Billings, MT or Kalispell, MT. An ideal candidate will have a strong interest or passion for information systems and their inseparable link to modern business accounting. You’ll master and apply the power of Intacct financial software, a leading cloud-based accounting system endorsed by the AICPA. Your clients will value your ability to help them improve business efficiency, increase business insight, and enhance connections with customers and business partners both in person and remotely. Travel is required up to 30%.


  • Perform business process walkthroughs, document and analyze results and make recommendations where you see inefficiencies in processes or procedures
  • Communicate with the client to understand and document system and business requirements
  • Implement and configure system according to client requirements
  • Assist client with data conversions for import into their new accounting system
  • Coordinate and execute training for end users of the system
  • Work alongside other team members to coordinate the completion of project tasks
  • Provide regular written reports on project status and if necessary, hold status meetings with clients
  • Assist with technical support after implementation if needed
  • Contribute to the development of new processes and procedures for service delivery, including development of templates, documentation of best practices, contribution to the knowledge base, etc.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Accounting
  • Pursuit of any professional license is a plus but not a requirement
  • An educational understanding of financial accounting principles/processes
  • Strong interest in information technology demonstrated by either past work experience, coursework, or extracurricular activities
  • Robust analytical and troubleshooting/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually when necessary
  • Exposure to public speaking and/or giving presentations in front of various group sizes
  • Quick learning skills and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with multi-tasking and prioritization of tasks
