    Position Summary

    We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our Product Development team that focuses on building and maintaining Intellectual Property (IP), focusing on supporting clients with troubleshooting application issues and new product development in our Reston, VA office location. We are open to remote candidates and this position involves minimal travel.


    • Troubleshoot and debug Wipfli developed software products sold on the market
    • Provide ongoing leadership and support for the solution ensuring overall client satisfaction
    • Understanding client requirements and how they translate to new application features
    • Participate in the process of architecting, designing and developing solutions based on client requirements
    • Communicate work plan status and issues for both client and internal projects to project managers
    • Perform Peer Review of solutions developed by team members. Comment code and configuration regarding functional and technical purpose and design nuances
    • Participate in R&D and foundational efforts to position the team to learn, develop and deliver innovative solutions to the market
    • Assist in the sales process by providing technical assistance and expertise during pre-sales preparation
    • Potentially lead a team of engineering resources in the delivery of working, tested, and integrated solutions that support business features and meets agreed quality criteria
    • Support the education of the customer on how the technology recommendation/solution planned will fulfill the customer expressed needs


    • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science
    • 5+ years of experience in product support, designing and building applications
    • Ability to program in Python, .Net, and PHP
    • Experience in financial systems or basic understanding of accounting concepts is preferred
    • Excellent understanding of software design and programming principles
    • Ability to work in a team and possess excellent communication skills
    • Analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
