    Wipfli is looking for an Technical Support Engineer to sit in our Media, PA office to work directly with Wipfli associates and Partners to support and provision their technology needs. 



    • Collaborate with IT and business owners to translate business needs into technology requirements.
    • Conduct technical research and fact gathering to support root cause analysis of problems, issues, or tasks assigned.
    • Produce technical documentation for assigned tasks according to firm policies and procedures.
    • Research, document and present potential technical solutions for reported problems or project assigned tasks.
    • Participate in identifying potential impacts or risks of the proposed technical solutions including identifying mitigation options.
    • Participate in the preparation of the requirements and technical documentation for assigned tasks.
    • Resolve incidents or problems using established guidelines and procedures (typically under the direction of a more experienced engineer or manager).
    • Design, develop, or configure systems to meet documented requirements related to project work.
    • Participate in the implementation of technical solutions.
    • Participate in Vendor interactions as required or directed from project leader. 
    • Perform system maintenance including application of security patches, system upgrades, hardware maintenance and or preventative maintenance activities.
    • Assist in the design, development and implementation of technical prototypes or proof of concepts.
    • Perform technical testing to ensure negative impacts have been mitigated.
    • Follow and suggest improvements for QA and change management procedures.
    • Perform on-call support for after business hours as needed.


    • Able to travel to client sites as needed (up tp 30-50% client related onsite work within driving distance of Media, PA office)
    • Requires an Associate Degree in Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and job related experience
    • A Bachelors Degree in IT or an IT related major would be preferred
    • Requires a valid driver’s license
    • Requires at least three years of job related experience
    • Requires one to two years of technical experience
    • Proficiencies in technology design, administration, operation or development
    • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively
    • Ability to balance many projects simultaneously
    • Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines
    • Ability to analyze data and recommend solutions
    • Ability to observe, think critically, and demonstrate a rational thought process and linear thinking
    • Strong written and verbal skills are very important for this position
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Other: Experience in Power Point and Visio preferred

    Office location starting mid-July will be Radnor, PA.
