    Wipfli is currently seeking candidates for a Graduate Medical Education Consulting Manager.   Under the direction of the performance coach, this professional will assist in partnering with hospitals and Federally Qualified Health Centers to provide graduate medical education (GME) solutions through financially sound training programs at pre-doctoral and post-doctoral levels, in addition to training programs for other medical disciplines.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist clients by providing expertise and guidance around institutional accreditation and specialty accreditation
    • Assist clients with writing grants to secure funding for GME programs
    • Independently or as part of the GME, conduct feasibility studies both on and off site.
    •  Conduct needs assessment and gap analysis of GME programs; create action/remediation plans
    • Provide continual guidance post accreditation to continue financially sound, sustainable programs
    • Assist clients in preparing for institutional and specialty site visits, often from the client sites
    • Provide analysis and support for turning around struggling programs 
    • In conjunction with Wipfli reimbursement team, prepare financial projections or financial models for clients.
    • Prepare presentations and reports to communicate results of projects
    • Assist clients in creating/modeling clinical rotations to emphasize specialty best practices as well as highlight individual strengths
    • Create institutional and program specific policies
    • Design curriculum (including goals and objectives) and evaluation tools for various stakeholders
    • Conduct research related to projects
    • Work as a member of the GME team to collaborate on document creation, proofreading and editing, rewriting and standardization of documents, interacting with clients on follow-up items, etc.
    • Be a resource for practitioners in the health care practice related to GME
    • Participate in client and health care practice team meetings as requested.
    • Seek out opportunities to engage new business. Complete RFPs as required.
    • Participate in business development.
    • Attend, and represent Wipfli, at medical education conferences throughout the year as both a participant (presenter) and/or exhibitor
    • Travel on a regular basis to new and existing clients as required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field; masters in a health, education or business field preferred.
    • 5 years’ experience in medical education. Prior consulting experience preferred.
    • Experience in graduate medical education, preferably at programmatic and sponsoring institution levels.
    • Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with and communicate with clients and staff
    • Strong analytical skills required including use of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Must be able to travel as needed up to 30%
