    Wipfli is currently seeking a IT Consultant for our Milwaukee office.  The IT Consultant works with clients on-site or remotely to analyze, research, document, communicate, design, and implement technology solutions that provide improvements to the client's business processes and information technology.



    • Perform analyses of client business processes, software systems, infrastructure, and database structures, and design and configure technology solutions based on client requirements under the guidance or oversight of senior consultants and Technology Manager.
    • Provide ongoing support for technology solutions ensuring overall client satisfaction.
    • Communicate work plan status and issues for both client and internal projects to Wipfli project manager and resource manager.
    • Create technical specifications.
    • Record project documentation and supported learning on Team/project sites.
    • Work in a project team environment, both with Wipfli team members and client team members.
    • Provide on-call support services as necessary when scheduled
    • Maintain and complete technical documentation as required
    • Communicate advice and answer questions of client staff relating to client’s infrastructure systems
    • Provide training or assistance to client staff relating to client’s infrastructure systems
    • Perform emergency on-site or remote support as needed.
    • Pursue advancement in technical network infrastructure capabilities as well as advancement in “soft skill” competencies
    • Work with clients, senior consultants and technology manager to understand business and technology requirements.
    • Assist in research of new technologies and trends that might impact our clients and make appropriate recommendations.



    • Associates degree with emphasis on information technology
    • Proficient in desktop, local area network, backup, and anti-virus technologies
    • Competent in server, messaging, mobile phone and wide area networking technologies
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills
    • 2-5 years on the job experience
    • Preferred certifications include MCSA or CCNA
    • Ability to draft documentation associated with work
