    Internal Audit Consultant


    Our financial institutions risk advisory services team is expanding. We are currently seeking candidates an Internal Audit Specialist role in our Financial Institutions practice.

    The professional fulfilling this role will be responsible for delivery of outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services, internal control, and risk management consulting services to financial institutions. This position will be 100% remote with the majority of regular travel to client sites in the Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire areas. While working as part of a team, this position has great opportunity for personal and professional growth.



    • Performs regulatory compliance audits and internal control reviews for financial institutions.
      • Prepares internal audit reports
      • Obtain and analyze client information and data to support internal audit procedures
      • Communicates findings/recommendations to Management
      • Assists in assessing and identifying risks and mitigating internal controls
      • Participate in other team initiatives as assigned


    • Experience in financial institutions and/or internal audit preferred
      • Experience in loan underwriting and/or servicing is preferred
      • Bachelor’s degree
      • Skilled in the use of Excel, Word, Adobe
      • Working toward an Internal Audit specialty certification and/or CPA certification a plus
      • Critical and analytical thinking
      • Ability to communicate and collaborate with team members and clients
      • Ability to effectively prioritize projects, and manage deadlines
      • Ability to adapt to change
       • Requires regional travel using personal vehicle
      • Requires some travel in the New England area.
      • Requires attendance to evening networking events and meetings
      • Ability to work effectively from home when not at client
