    Wipfli is currently seeking candidates for the role of Alliance Manager. Under the direction of the Growth Organization, the Alliance Manager builds and maintains our relationship with key alliance partners such as Microsoft. They will ensure the alliance partner(s) understand who Wipfli is, understands Wipfli strategy within the markets we serve, and understands Wipfli capabilities. In addition, they will serve as an execution liaison between our Wipfli strategies, our delivery team, and Microsoft to ensure that we are driving results.


    • Works with our Microsoft Partner Development Manager (PDM) on Business Planning and providing updates on performance, issues, and needs.
    • Works with Microsoft PDM and Key Leadership to understand available programs and ensure Wipfli sales, marketing, and service delivery teams have the information they require to successfully utilize the programs.
    • Assists Wipfli teams in utilizing and staying in compliance with Microsoft One Commercial Partner program, Solution Accelerators, and AppSource/solution marketing tools.
    • Manage our strategic relationship with Microsoft overall. Providing connectivity and leadership into appropriate regional and national Microsoft executives.
    • Assists our Business Development resources with getting connected with Microsoft’s Account Executives and supporting field sales organization.
    • Drives usage of the regional Microsoft Technology Centers by creating awareness of the center capabilities and how to effectively utilize the resource with our clients.
    • Ensures our consultants are getting the appropriate training and readiness to perform their roles whether it be sales, delivery, support or innovation.
    • Coordinates Microsoft Conference attendees working with the Resource Managers from each area and manage the objectives and outputs for each attendee.


    • Requires a Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other job related major, or an equivalent level of job related experience
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience. Preferred previous experience with the channel partner (Microsoft) if possible
    • Understanding of and experience in consulting
    • Direct experience as an Alliance Manager
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Requires skill in database systems and microcomputer software
    • Deep understanding of Microsoft execution engines
    • Deep understanding of Wipfli organization
