    SpiderLogic, a division of Wipfli and leader in software development, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Software Architect to join its growing practice.  SpiderLogic strives to be the quintessential technology company.  We continue to assemble a group of the very best software engineers and forge a culture of teamwork, trusted peer relationships, project based work and fun.


    We are looking for a Software Architect with experience leading Agile development teams. You will be leading and participating in the development of significant projects and working closely with project managers, business analysts and our customers.

    Our work is done in our Milwaukee software lab while interacting with our other locations across the globe. The lab’s relaxed atmosphere is designed to spur creativity and foster teamwork.     • Accountable for solution designed and delivered by the team
    • Follow and mentor a value focused software methodology approach, including unit test automation, continuous integration etc.
    • Guide Product owner decisions with options and technical pros and cons to maximize value
    • Mentor and assist team to achieve daily and sprint goals
    • Shepherd the team towards a quality solution required to solve the problem within investment constraints
    • Assist the Product Owner and Project Execution Leader in designing the user story map
    • Help the team understand incremental and iterative development and to work with just enough requirements
    • Look beyond the day to day to ensure the solution being built does not short change long term goals
    • Identify and communicate risks clearly
    • Educate the customer on how the technology recommendation/solution planned will fulfill the customer expressed needs


    • Passionate and curious about building software systems
    • Deep understanding and appreciation of software design, development and evolution
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in application architecture, design, and coding with Microsoft tools and technologies such as .Net, SQL Server and Azure
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to readily communicate complex technical information in an easy to understand format
    • Experience with agile software development models is required
    • Proven ability to effectively lead business and technical teams, and able to make sound decisions balancing schedule needs and technical needs
    • Experience leading projects through peer influence rather than through authority
    • Experience with Software as a Service and cloud-based product implementation and delivery is highly desired
    • Must have the ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and the ability to multi-task
    • Experience driving both technical and Business Process Management
    • Effective problem solving, facilitation, collaboration, negotiation and influencing skills a must
    • Experience with B2B software implementation and design processes will be plus (not required)
