    Under the direction of the Director of Talent Strategy and Organizational Development, the Senior Organizational Development Specialist will lead, facilitate, coach and coordinate various organizational development initiatives in support of the firm’s people strategy and business goals.  Will also provide coaching and consultative services to Wipfli associates across all levels of work and within all offices, regions, practice groups and service lines.


    • Facilitate a performance focus by:
    • Guiding and directing the workforce planning process
    • Influencing and innovating to improve goal setting and performance feedback
    • Growing Wipfli’s coaching culture through interaction with performance and growth coaches as well as engagement managers
    • Facilitate talent readiness by:
    • Guiding and directing the succession planning process for key positions
    • Leveraging evaluation processes and individual development plans
    • Contribute to the creation and execution of an executive development process
    • Lead and support Wipfli change management efforts by:
    • Engaging project sponsors and leaders in the proper use of change management tactics
    • Influence and educate key players on their role in change management success
    • Continuously impact Wipfli’s engagement levels by:
    • Coordinating the culture and engagement assessment process
    • Identifying trends and themes and addressing them for improved engagement
    • Consulting with leaders and teams throughout Wipfli to address identified engagement issues
    • Collaborate with Wipfli leaders to continuously ensure quality programming and delivery to ultimately translate business requirements into tangible performance outcomes.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development to support our self-driven learning culture, learning initiatives and talent development needs.
    • Apply a “systems thinking” approach to addressing culture development, engagement and talent by:
    • Engaging and influencing leaders to support various talent strategies
    • Employing change management practices
    • Examining all the stakeholders, influencers and systems that drive behaviors and attitudes
    • Serve as a consultant to the firm in regards to talent development by:
    • Practicing an outward mindset
    • Listening with empathy
    • Applying critical thinking to identify and solve problems


    • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in organizational development, culture, change or related field.
    • Valid Driver’s License
    • 3-5 years’ experience working in a Talent Development related field required
    • 3-5 years’ experience working with organizational development related initiatives preferred e.g. workforce planning, succession planning, coaching, assessments, engagement, and executive development
    • Providing internal consulting in an organization
    • Effective presentation and facilitation skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Prefer experience with software used in organizational development initiative e.g. assessments
