Position Overview
As a Wipfli NetSuite Lead Implementation Consultant, you will be working directly with our client’s senior stakeholders to listen, design and architect a NetSuite solution that will drive innovation and growth focused on the key objectives of the business / organization.

Based on this design, you will lead the client and Wipfli implementation team to define, configure, and deliver the client’s unique NetSuite solution. This requires not only a deep understanding of NetSuite, but an ability to translate that knowledge to our team. You will be asked to openly contribute knowledge, share with our associates and apply your implementation experience to the development and continued updating of our solution repository/best practices knowledgebase at Wipfli.

As a Wipfli NetSuite Lead Implementation Consultant, our clients will come to you for guidance, consulting advice and assistance where you will be that ‘go-to’ resource for the resolution of specific functional questions as well as general business questions.

  • Pre-Sales Implementation Support – Collaborate with the clients and Wipfli Sales team to provide scope and resource-based implementation estimates as part of the sales process.  This integration at an early stage allows the client and Wipfli to start with a common understanding of expectations.
  • NetSuite Solution Architect – Listen to the client’s business requirements and lead the team to develop a unique NetSuite solution for the client.  This solution will include configuration, user friendly personalization, and potentially 3rd party software, modifications, and workflow.  A successful candidate does not need to know everything, you just need to utilize your resources to provide the best solution for the client.
  • NetSuite Implementation Lead – Lead a team of client and Wipfli NetSuite implementation consultants with a hands-on implementation approach that focuses on planning, evaluation, design, development, implementation, operation and integration of the NetSuite platform
  • NetSuite Project Lead - Assist the project manager to drive the completion of tasks, milestones, and components including but not limited to: functional specifications, design specifications, development, configurations, quality assurance, implementations and project reviews
  • Client Expectation Lead - Facilitate issue resolution and communication across the joint project team in order to deliver a solution that meets the established and agreed to objectives.  This is a vital role as issues either drive critical decisions or scope changes, or both.
  • Team Leader - Perform internal educational session on the NetSuite platform while serving as a mentor and trainer to team members

  • 3+ years of ERP implementation experience, NetSuite implementation experience required
  • 5+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
  • 5+ years of experience working with manufacturers and distributors
  • Experience in scoping and architecting solutions
  • Experience as a project lead or lead functional consultant identifying, analyzing and managing project risks and impacts
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements definition and providing options and recommendations on the best way to implement the requirements to meet overall business goals and processes, tailoring implementation plans and translating design methodology including integrations, interfaces and data flows
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Willing to travel up 20%-30%.
