Responsibilities 

 

Are you looking for a strategic information security role? This opportunity will partner with representatives of the business to understand firm requirements, objectives, and priorities in order to further define and improve security control requirements and helping to ensure controls mandated by the Information Security team both properly address associated risks and align to the firm’s needs. 

This role will also determine compliance status through the management and execution of control audits and assessments aligned to such standards as SOC, CMMC, and CIS20CSC.  They will also help ensure accountability for addressing audit findings through the active management of any associated issues list. 

 

  • Use the firm’s GRC system to manage assigned control programs and any associated audits. 
  • Manage projects and other efforts associated with the firm’s compliance goals and requirements. 
  • Evaluate IT security processes, controls, and effectiveness through assessments.  
  • Review and Assess Vendors via the firm’s Vendor Due Diligence process. 
  • Advise the Internal IT team as a security subject matter expert in support of various projects 

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Information Technology/Security or equivalent work experience  
  • 3-5 years related experience  
  • Strong proficiency in security standards such as CMMC or CISC20CSC 
  • Experience managing a SOC or similar compliance program required 
  • Experience conducting security control audits and assessments required 
  • Preferred experience performing information security-based risk assessments
