Join our dynamic consulting team as a Graduate Medical Education (GME) Intern. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in medical education consulting, working alongside experienced professionals to support the development and implementation of GME programs.

 

Responsibilities:  

Are you interested in helping companies thrive through innovative thinking, structured problem solving and the implementation of information technology systemsConsider learning more about the Consulting Practice at WipfliOur consultants work closely with our clients to help them optimize their value streams – the way they deliver value via products and services to their customers.  

  

More specifically consulting interns get involved with our clients in the following project experiences: 

 

  • Assist in researching, drafting, and submitting grant proposals to secure funding for medical education programs 
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to design and develop programs that meet accreditation standards for graduate medical schools. 
  • Conduct research on best practices in medical education and equitable health access to inform program development. 
  • Contribute to initiatives that promote equitable health access and address disparities in healthcare education 
  • Records project documentation, such as meeting notes and client requirements. 
  • Delivers segments of work assigned by project managers or other senior team members. 
  • Follows and leverages documented internal standard approaches, tools and training materials.  
  • Documents internal standard approaches, tools, and training materials. 
  • Communicates work plan status and issues for both client and internal projects to Project Manager. 
  • Is aware of time and budget for projects and communicates overages and availability in advance. 
  • Participates in learning and development essential to competence and continued professional growth as guided by performance coach

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree within Public Health, Health Administration, Organizational Theory, or other related field of study 
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively 
  • Ability to work under pressure and time deadlines 
  • Ability to know when to escalate or seek guidance on issue or roadblock 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  • Function effectively as part of a group of people working together to accomplish tasks or goals 
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Wipfli will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
