Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Healthcare Consulting Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the healthcare consulting field and work alongside experienced professionals. This internship will take place during the spring semester and will be part-time hours.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the analysis and evaluation of healthcare organizations' competitive environment, operational and financial performance.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategic plans, volume forecasts, Community Health Needs Assessments and process improvements.
  • Conduct research on client service area markets, industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other deliverables for clients.
  • Participate in client meetings and contribute to discussions.
  • Collaborate with team members on various consulting projects.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administrationor Business.
  • Currently classified as a Senior or higher level of your bachelor's degree education.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in the healthcare industry and consulting.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Wipfli will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)
