Job Summary

Under the direction of a Senior Engineer or Manager, the Engineer I support clients to analyze, research, document, communicate, and remediate identified events that provide stability and security to the clients infrastructure, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Understands client support scope for technology infrastructure, and security structures.
  • Ensures overall client satisfaction by providing ongoing support for contracted hardware and services.
  • Effectively triage alerts for hardware, connectivity, and security while following best practices.
  • Responds to hardware and security alerts, ensuring case is documented and communication with the clients.
  • Records case documentation and supports learning on team/project sites.
  • Communicates with stakeholders any trends identified in alerts.
  • Works within the time and scope for projects and communicates overages and availability in advance.
  • Works in a team environment, both with Wipfli team members and client team members.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of job-related experience.
  • Obtains certifications or is working towards appropriate certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
